Yo! My name is Zumbi.

My full name is Olufela Rodriguez, yet I go by my middle name: Zumbi. I was raised in Dayton, OH and now I am set to graduate in spring 2027 from UC DAAP's Industrial Design program.

Art and design has been my central passion for as long as I can remember. Most products intrigue me, I am not set on designing one thing. Design should be guided by the user(s) and their needs, the rest falls second to that.

Beyond design, I have been practicing art most of my life. I have experience in ceramics, oil paint, ink, charcoal, graphite, and a bit of steel welding. This still remains a hobby and side hustle for me. My Instagram is up for view if art entices you.

Outside of my work, you are most likely to catch me collecting and spinning vinyl records. I also enjoy reading, bouldering, cooking, and exploring new places.
